What to Expect

1. Free Initial Consult - Signing Up

   • Meeting: we will get to know you and the details of your case​

   • Explanation/discussion: your attorney will explain their approach to your defense and what you should expect during the court process

   • Initial paperwork: after signing an agreement, we will file paperwork with the court so we can begin representing you immediately​

2. Strategy Preparation

   • Review: after receiving your discovery (all reports, videos, etc.) we will review everything to prepare the best defense strategy for you

   • Strategy call/meeting: your lawyer will contact you to discuss your reports and let you know the best strategy options going forward   

3. Negotiations 

   • Communication: your lawyer will deal with the prosecution to try and get your charges dismissed or to get the best possible settlement agreement

   • Presentation: your dismissal or settlement options will be presented to you for discussion with your attorney

     • YOU have the final decision on settling out of court or going to trial

4. Settlement and/or Trial Preparation

   • Dismissal: if your charges get dismissed our office will work with the court to make sure everything gets processed and entered in to the system accordingly

   • Settlement: if you accept a settlement we will prepare and file the documents and walk you through your responsibilities

   • Trial: if we can not reach an agreement, your attorney will prepare your defense for trial ​​

5. Trial

   • your lawyer will prepare you for trial and guide you through the process and the verdict

   • defense preparation may include subpoenaing witnesses, setting up depositions, hiring experts, getting forensic analysis, etc.​
